Each work center is configurable to have different Operations such as Bore, Face, Groove, etc. and each can have it’s own bill rates.

Parts have individual part number, revision, description lead time and scrap percentage. Operations are tied to the part so the operators know exactly what to do.

Once the Quote is approved, turn it into an Order so your customer can be billed. There are several base Reports but since we own the code, custom reports can be created.

Work Centers

Manage the names of your work centers, create new work centers and assign each with their own set of operations. Each work center operation can have different charge rates.

Quotes

Let PartTraq help you with an accurate quote. When entering Part information, tell PartTraq the part number and revision, then fill in the number of parts your customer wants and estimate the percentage of scrap.

After that, enter the type of material used to make the part and the estimated unit cost for the part for that material. You can add a minimum charge if you want.

Now, it’s time to tell PartTraq the number of work centers the part will go through to final inspection. This is the great advantage of PartTraq. As the work centers are entered, the real manufacturing costs are calculated to give you an accurate idea of what it costs you to manufacture the part.

Customers

PartTraq lets you keep track of multiple Billing and Shipping Addresses along with a list of contacts for your customer.

Using real manufacturing costs, PartTraq calculates the actual cost of manufacturing your customers parts.
